The Complete Guide to the Walt Disney World Hotels and Resorts (2022)

From value resorts to luxury hotels and villas, there are over 30,000 on-site rooms in more than 30 individual resort properties at the Walt Disney World Resort.  These resort hotels range from those targeting budget-minded travelers (ie: Disney’s All-Star Resorts) to luxurious accommodations (ie. Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa).  You can rest assured that there is an on-site resort hotel at World Disney World that is the perfect fit for your travel plans.

From families with young children to adults on a weekend getaway, on-site Disney resort hotels have something to offer for everyone.  From amazing hotel theming, resort-style pools with water features, on-site Disney character experiences, and numerous dining options, these resort hotels are among the most unique in the greater Orlando / central Florida area.

Depending on the time of year, rates at the on-site Disney resort hotels range around $100 a night for more budget conscious travelers to more than $1,000 a night for club level rooms, suites and family-sized villas.  While Disney does not charge resort fees at it’s hotels, there are overnight parking charges which range from $15 to $25 per night.  Select hotels offer valet parking at a rate of $33 per night.

When staying at a Disney resort hotel, guests have access to numerous benefits like resort-wide transportation and extra theme parks hours.  These amazing benefits are one of the main reasons we recommend staying at an on-site resort hotel when visiting Disney World.

Over the years we have stayed at a large number of these resorts and have published tours/review on both our website and YouTube channel so if you are interested in a particular hotel, make sure you check out what we had to say about it.
