The Complete Guide to the Walt Disney World Hotels and Resorts

There are over 30,000 on-site rooms in more than 25 individual resort properties at the Walt Disney World Resort ranging from value resorts to luxury hotels and villas. These resort hotels range from those targeting budget-minded travelers (ie: Disney’s All-Star Resorts) to luxurious accommodations (ie. Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa).  You can rest assured that there is an on-site resort hotel at Walt Disney World that is the perfect fit for your travel plans.

From families with young children to adults on a weekend getaway, on-site Disney resort hotels offer something for everyone. With amazing hotel theming, resort-style pools with water features, on-site Disney character experiences, and numerous dining options, these resort hotels are among the most unique in the greater Orlando/central Florida area.

Depending on the time of year, rates at the on-site Disney resort hotels can range from around $100 a night for the more budget-conscious travelers to over $1,000 a night for club-level rooms, suites, and family-sized villas. Disney does not charge resort fees at its hotels, and there are no longer charges for self-parking. Select hotels offer valet parking at a rate of $39 per night.

When staying at a Disney resort hotel, guests have access to numerous benefits, such as resort-wide transportation and extra theme park hours. These amazing benefits are one of the main reasons we recommend staying at an on-site resort hotel when visiting Disney World.

Over the years we have stayed at a large number of these resorts and have published tours/review on both our website and YouTube channel so if you are interested in a particular hotel, make sure you check out what we had to say about it.
