Florida Art & Culture – Endless Summer Florida

SunFest is one of the State of Florida's best annual outdoor events. Located in downtown West Palm Beach along Flagler Drive at the Intracoastal Waterway, SunFest is a music and art festival that attracts over 100,000 visitors each and every year. Originally founded in 1982, this multi-day festival is typically held in late April / early May and features a live concerts by a number of popular recording artists. These shows that place on three individual stages that are spread out among the SunFest location. Check out the full lineup for this years event below. There is also an "Art District" which is three blocks of artists and vendors. Guests have the opportunity to view / purchase artwork and apparel as well as experience live demonstrations that occur throughout the four-day event. In addition to the Art District, visitors can relax at one of the floating bars and enjoy great food from three specialty eateries located throughout the festival. And to cap off SunFest, a massive fireworks show takes place along the waterfront when the final music show closes on Sunday night. Since SunFest is held completed outdoors, visitors should prepare accordingly as the show will go on either rain or shine. And since Florida weather can be unpredictable this time of year, guests may want to bring a rain jacket or umbrella.
