Using Marriott Points to Stay at Walt Disney World

Marriott is one of most popular hotel brands in the world and Since thousands of travelers accumulate reward points using Marriott’s Bonvoy program, we’re often asked if these points can be used when vacationing at The Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.  And that answer is an astounding yes!

While there are dozens of Marriott brand hotels in the Orlando area, there are actually three on-site hotels that operate under the Marriott umbrella.  These three hotels include the Walt Disney World Swan, the Walt Disney World Dolphin and the fairly new Walt Disney World Swan Reserve.

Guests staying at any of these hotels enjoy both special Disney benefits as well as the ability use (or earn) points for their stay.  Marriott also provides its guests a “BEST RATE GUARANTEE” which assures them that they will get the best available rate when booking directly through Marriott.

Standard Marriott Bonvoy member benefits are also included during your stay including upgrades, if available, based on your individual membership level.  In the past we have received a complimentary upgrade to an EPCOT view room with a balcony at the Dolphin hotel.
