Marriott’s BeachPlace Towers is a high-rise resort that is located in the heart Fort Lauderdale Beach. Situated just across from the ocean, this amazing family-friendly resort is a vacation club property that also rents rooms on a nightly basis just like a traditional hotel.

This 19-story, 206-room property was originally constructed in 1997 and sits above The Galley at BeachPlace which features three stories of trendy shops, restaurants and entertainment venues.  Property features include an outdoor pool that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean, fully-equipped 24-hour fitness center with strength training and cardiovascular equipment, organized activities for kids, an on-site marketplace and access to the Spa at Marriott’s Harbor Beach resort.

The resort is directly across from Fort Lauderdale Beach and is within walking distance to restaurants, shopping and dining venues.  The Gallery at Beach Place is located just below the towers and features a number of trending shops and restaurants.

Local Fort Lauderdale attractions including the Museum of Discovery & Science, the Bahia Mar Yachting Center, the Bonnet House Museum & Gardens, Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, the Broward Center for the Performing Arts and the numerous shops & dining venues along Las Olas Boulevard.

The nearest major international airport is the Fort Lauderdale International Airport.  It will take about 20 minutes to get to the Beach Place Towers from the airport during non-peak times.

Amenities and Dining Options

Marriott’s BeachPlace Towers is a vacation club property that is perfect for those looking for a Florida “beach vacation”.  While this property is a tower as opposed a sprawling resort, it does not lack for amenities as its best feature the location directly across from Fort Lauderdale beach.

The main amenity is a fair-sized heated outdoor pool and patio deck overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.  The patio deck has ample seating, a poolside bar and there are two individual whirlpool tubs.  In addition to the pool, Marriott’s BeachPlace Towers features a fully equipped fitness center that includes resistance training equipment as well as cardiovascular equipment.   

There are organized activities for kids as well as a “social hour” for the adults.  Guests also have access to The Spa at Marriott’s Harbor Beach hotel which is approximately one mile north of the resort.

The resort’s dining options are limited to Splash Pool Bar & Grill which is located in the resorts poolside bar as well as The Marketplace Express which is a grab-and-go venue.
