The Courtyard LBV has one of the most convenient locations near the Walt Disney World Resort, just two miles north of Disney Springs. The hotel is also very close to International Drive, SeaWorld Orlando, the Orange County Convention Center and Interstate 4.  Overall, the property is well located near all the Orlando area theme parks, the Orlando International Airport and several of Orlando’s major shopping & entertainment destinations.

It will take travelers about 25 minutes to get to the hotel from the Orlando International Airport and around 10 minutes to get to the Orlando / Orange County Convention Center.  

There are several restaurants and retail venues within a very short distance to the hotel which include Olive Garden, Kobe’ Japanese Steakhouse, Paddywagon Irish Pub, KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot and a Starbucks coffee shop.  Additional shopping outlets and restaurants are located nearby along Apopka Vineland.

At just 308-rooms in size, the Courtyard Orlando Lake Buena Vista is not a major resort hotels in the area outside of Walt Disney World so it does not have all the features & amenities of the larger properties.  However, it’s amenities are considered to be adequate and include:

Two Outdoor Swimming Pools

The hotel features two heated outdoor swimming pools that have ample patio seating.   The larger Oasis Pool is located just outside the lobby building and features a children’s water play area and a large video screen for guests to watch sporting events and movies.  The Oasis Pool is open daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM and towels are provided near the pool entrance.

The Sunset Pool is a more tranquil pool setting which has ample patio seating.  The Sunset Pool is open daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM and is a great place to relax and unwind after a long day at the theme parks.

Fitness Center

The Courtyard LBD features a fully equipped fitness center with modern cardiovasular machines as well as an ample amount of strength training equipment including free weights.

The fitness center is open 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.

Recreation

The hotel has an extensive outdoor patio area for recreational activities include two pool tables, corn hole games and a firepit.  The Oasis Lounge is also accessible from the outdoor patio so guests can enjoy an evening cocktail.

Theme Park Transportation

The Courtyard  Lake Buena Vista offers complimentary shuttle bus service to the Walt Disney World Transportation and Ticket Center. Guests can take the Disney Monorail from Epcot to access the Transportation & Ticket Center which provides access to the Magic Kingdom Park.

Since the shuttle schedule changes seasonally, please check the daily schedule during the time of your stay.

The Oasis Patio & Lounge is the hotel’s lobby bar and eatery.  This venue is open daily from 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM with both inside and outdoor service. Guests will enjoy a variety of beer, wine and specialty cocktails as well as burgers, sandwiches and salads.

Sunrise Cafe

The Sunrise Cafe is open daily for breakfast from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM Monday to Friday and from 6:30 AM to 11:00 AM on weekends.

The Blend

The Blend is the hotel’s coffee bar that open daily from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.  Guests will enjoy a variety of coffee and tea’s along with breakfast sandwiches and pastries.

What We Liked about Courtyard Lake Buena Vista:
