The Rosen Inn LBV has one of the most convenient locations near the Walt Disney World Resort, just two miles north of Disney Springs.  The hotel is also very close to International Drive, SeaWorld Orlando, the Orange County Convention Center and Interstate 4.  Overall, the property is well located near all the Orlando area theme parks, the Orlando International Airport and several of Orlando’s major shopping & entertainment destinations.

It will take travelers about 25 minutes to get to the hotel from the Orlando International Airport and around 10 minutes to get to the Orlando / Orange County Convention Center.  

There are several restaurants and retail venues within a very short distance to the hotel which include Olive Garden, Kobe’ Japanese Steakhouse, Paddywagon Irish Pub, KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot and a Starbucks coffee shop.  Additional shopping outlets and restaurants are located nearby along Apopka Vineland.

Theme parks and other local destinations are short distance to the hotel.  Per Google Maps, travel time is as follows (non-peak hours):

• Disney Springs: Less than 10 minutes.
• The Magic Kingdom Park: Approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
• EPCOT: Approximately 15 minutes.

Hotels Amenities at the Rosen Inn

At just 640-rooms in size, the Rosen Inn is not of the the major resort hotels in the area outside of Walt Disney World so it does not have all the features & amenities of the larger properties.  However, it’s amenities are considered to be adequate and include:

Two Outdoor Swimming Pools

The hotel features two heated outdoor swimming pools that have ample patio seating.  One pool is near the 3000 building and the other is between the 1000 and 2000 buildings.  

The pool is open daily from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM and towels are provided near the pool entrance.

Ozzie’s Splash Zone

The hotel also features a children’s water play area called Ozzie’s Splash Zone.  There are multiple fountains and water features in a fully fenced patio area.

Theme Park Transportation

The Rosen Inn Lake Buena Vista offers complimentary shuttle bus service to Disney World, the Universal Orlando Resort, SeaWorld Orlando and the local area outlet malls. While the shuttle schedule changes seasonally, the following times were offered during our last visit in March 2023.  Please check the daily schedule during the time of your stay.

• Epcot: 10:45 AM departure time / 10:00 PM return time (bus lane #45)
• Disney’s Hollywood Studios: 9:50 AM departure time / 4:00 PM return time (bus lane #68)
• Disney Springs: 4:25 PM departure time / 11:15 PM return time
• SeaWorld Orlando: 4:25 PM departure time / 11:15 PM return time
• Universal Orlando: 7:20 AM departure time / 6:20 PM return time (canopy)

Guests can take the Disney Monorail from Epcot to access the Transportation & Ticket Center which provides access to the Magic Kingdom Park.

Boardwalk Buffet Restaurant

The Boardwalk Buffet Restaurant is open daily for breakfast from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM.  A buffet breakfast for an adult ages 10 and up costs $13.95 plus tax & service charge while kids ages 6 to 9 cost $7.95.  There is also a Kids Eat Free Program for one child ages 5 and under to eat free when accompanied by a paying adult.

Comfort Zone Bar & Grille

The Comfort Zone Bar & Grille is open daily from 5:30 PM to 11:00 PM with a Happy Hour from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.  Entrees ranges from burgers, pizza, sandwiches and salads. The kitchen is open to 10:00 PM for dine-in or take out service.

Lite Bite Mini-Market / Deli

The Lite Bite Mini-Market / Deli is open daily from 6:30 AM to midnight and offers a variety of hot & cold sandwiches, snacks and beverages.
