The Residence Inn by Marriott Cape Canaveral (Cocoa Beach) is an extended stay type hotel located less than one mile from Port Canaveral and just a short distance to the world famous Cocoa Beach.
This four-story, 150-room property was originally constructed in 2006 and last renovated in 2013. During our most recent stay the building and grounds were found to be in good condition and well kept.
Hotel features include a heated outdoor pool and hot tub, 24-hour fitness center with strength training and cardiovascular equipment, an outdoor sports court with basketball hoop, lobby marketplace & breakfast area, outdoor patio bar and 1,000 square feet of meeting space.

Originally constructed in 2006 and last renovated in 2013, the Residence Inn Cape Canaveral (Cocoa Beach) is an extended stay type of hotel which features large studio and one bedroom suites.
The hotel is one of the closest to Port Canaveral and is a very good place to stay when vacationing on one of the local area cruise ships. While amenities are not considered to be extensive, the Residence Inn features a heated outdoor pool & spa, fitness center, outdoor sports court, on-site marketplace, breakfast area, outdoor barbecue grills and a small outdoor patio bar.
In addition to the amenities the hotel offers guests a complimentary hot breakfast buffet and an evening social featuring light snacks along with bee and wine. The evening social is held on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday with the exception of major holidays.
In addition to Port Canaveral, the Residence Inn is close to Kennedy Space Center, the Brevard Zoo, the Westgate Cocoa Beach Pier and the world famous Ron Jon Surf Shop.

The nearest major international airport is located in Orlando. It will take about 45 minutes to get to the Residence Inn from the Orlando International Airport. It is a very easy route as guests will take SR-528 (Beach Line Expressway) east to A1A (the route does not change) through Merritt Island to Cape Canaveral. The hotel is on the west side of A1A less than one mile from entering Cape Canaveral.

- One bedroom suite with one king bed and balcony: 500 sf with separate living area & sofa bed, kitchenette and work desk.
- One bedroom larger suite with two queen beds: 525 sf with separate living area & sofa bed, kitchenette and work desk.
The kitchenettes feature a refrigerator/freezer, cooktop, microwave oven, dishwasher, kitchen sink, toaster, coffee maker, flatware and all the cookware needed to prepare simple meals. There is also a two person table for dining.
All rooms have flat panel televisions with cable television, free Wi-Fi, a work desk with chair, alarm clock, hair dryer, in room safe and an iron/ironing board.
Important Note: the Wi-Fi service was found to be somewhat slow. According to Speedtest.net, download speeds was 9.83 Mbps. However, upload speeds of 9.7 Mbps is considered to be respectable.
