The Marriott Harbor Beach Resort is a resort that is perfect for those looking for a South Florida “beach vacation”.  Located directly on the sand at the southern end of the world famous Fort Lauderdale Beach, amenities are extensive and there is something for everyone at this property.

The main amenity is the beach club which includes 200,000 square feet of private beach.  Included with the resort fee is lounge chairs and towel service but the resort also offers day beds and watersports rentals by BouYah Water Sports.  Watersports rentals include:

  • Wave Runner rentals: $100 per half hour
  • Banana Boat:$25 per 15 minutes (per person)
  • Kayaks: $40 per hour
  • Paddle Boards: $40 per hour
  • Boogie Boards / Skim Boards: $10 per day

In addition to the beach club, there is a large outdoor pool and patio deck that includes private cabana rentals, two whirlpool tubs and a children’s water play area.  Organized activities surrounding the pool take place daily and include scavenger hunts, arts & crafts, games and family movie trivia.

The hotel also features The Spa at Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort.  This 22,000 square foot full service spa provides a number of different treatments including massages, facials, body scrubs and salon services.  There is also a private pool for the exclusive use of the spa guests.  The spa is open daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and appointments are required.

  • 3030 Ocean Restaurant: Open daily from noon to 11:00 PM, this upscale restaurant serves American cuisine including seafood and steaks. The restaurant is open daily from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM while the 3030 Bar is open daily from noon to 11:00 PM.
  • Riva: This indoor / outdoor family-friendly restaurant offers amazing views of the ocean while serving breakfast to it’s guests.  Open daily from 7:00 AM to Noon.
  • HB Fresh: Start your day with a refreshing fruit smoothie or baked goods.  Open daily from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
  • Loggerhead Sand Bar:  Located directly on the resort’s private beach, guests can enjoy light bites and cocktails just steps from the ocean.

From weddings and events to business conferences and meetings, the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa can accommodate gatherings of all sizes and types.  Recently redesigned, the resort features 20 event rooms with more than 49,000 square feet of event space.  The largest space is the 14,900 Grand Ballroom which has a capacity of 1,800 guests.

In addition to the indoor event space, the hotel features a number of outdoor venues including the 14,571 square foot Ocean View Terrace and the 5,459 square foot Resort Pool Deck.  Guests can even book events directly on the resorts 200,000 square feet of private beach.
