The Four Points by Sheraton Orlando International Drive is a affordable hotel located just outside of the Universal Orlando Resort.  This contemporary art-deco style hotel was originally constructed in 1973 and features 301 rooms within a single, 21-story tower building.

The property is a Universal Partner Hotel so it offers complimentary transportation to the Universal which is located less than five-minutes away.  The Four Points is very well located along International Drive between the existing Universal theme parks as well Epic Universe which anticipated to open in the summer 2025.  In addition, the hotel is less than 10 minutes to the Orlando / Orange County Convention Center just south along Universal Boulevard.

The Four Points by Sheraton Orlando International Drive is very well located near the Universal Orlando Resort.  Access to the hotel is fairly simple as there is an interchange at Universal Boulevard from Interstate 4 which connects to International Drive, just steps to the hotel.

This property is fairly close to the Orlando /Orange County Convention Center, the International Drive attractions and several of Orlando’s major shopping & entertainment destinations.

It will take travelers about 20 minutes to get to the hotel from the Orlando International Airport and less around 10 to 15 minutes to get to the Orlando / Orange County Convention Center.  

In addition to what is offered on-site at the Universal Orlando Resort, there are several restaurants and retail venues within a very short distance along International Drive include Denny’s, Red Lobster and IHOP. Additional shopping in and dining is located along Kirkman Drive which include a Walgreens Pharmacy, Kobe Japanese Steakhouse and TGI Fridays.

Being just outside of the Universal Orlando Resort, Universal’s CityWalk, Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure is a 5-minute taxi or Uber ride away. 

Additional area theme parks and destinations are short distance to the hotel.  Per Google Maps, travel time is as follows (non-peak hours):

In-room amenities are extensive and include high quality linens, working desk with chair, flat panel televisions with premium and on-demand movies for rent, coffee maker, iron / ironing board, in-room safe, hair dryer.

  • Two Queen Guest Rooms: 460 square feet in size which includes two queens beds.
  • One King Guest Rooms: 460 square feet in size which includes two queens beds.

There are no resort fees at each of this hotel but there is a 6% resort tax on top of a 6.5% sales tax on nightly rates.  There is also a $10 per night overnight parking charge.

During our last stay on April 24th to 26th, 2022 we paid $110.00 per night for a two queen bed room on the 14th floor.  This was a AAA rate that was offered during those dates.

Conferences and Events at the Four Points by Sheraton

The Four Points by Sheraton Orlando International Drive features approximately 7,500 square feet of flexible event and meeting space which has a capacity of 200 people in two breakout rooms.

The 2,300 square foot Universal Ballroom is the largest room at the hotel which can fit 150 in a theater setting, 120 in a banquet setting and 200 in a reception setting.
